F.C. Copenhagen have signed Iceland international goalkeeper Rúnar Alex Rúnarsson on a free transfer in a deal that runs to the summer of 2027. He will wear jersey number 31.

Rúnar Alex Rúnarsson (born 18 February 1995) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Danish Superliga club Copenhagen and the Iceland national team. He has also previously played for Dijon , Nordsjælland , KR Reykjavik and Arsenal .

Alex Runarsson has returned from his loan spell at Cardiff City and will now leave the club by mutual agreement. Iceland international Alex joined us in September 2020 from French side Dijon FCO and made six appearances in his debut season for us, keeping three clean sheets in the process.
